We’re proud of our Lancashire roots and we’re known as one of the most helpful and friendly web hosting companies around. Over the 20 years that we have been in business, we’ve been through lots of changes, from upgrades to our servers to new staff members.
The one thing that has remained constant since February 2001 is our dedication to being an honest, flexible and reliable hosting company.
Whilst at university in Manchester, two friends, John & Phil, decide to start a business – netweaver.co.uk is registered and they get to work.
On 27th February 2001 we formed NetWeaver.com Limited and launched an affordable web hosting company for small and medium sized businesses.
In July 2006, we lost our co-founder to cancer. A sad day for NetWeaver and still missed today.
Our pioneering, in-house developed control panel – WebCentre – served us for over 10 years. This was phased out to allow us to add more features going forward.
A lot has changed in recent years with the addition of Dec, as customer director and Jake as financial director.
These fresh faces bring passion and hard work to continue our drive to be the very best hosting company for small businesses in the UK.
This year we celebrated our 18th year of web hosting.
Following months of planning and large investments into our infrastructure, NetWeaver’s core network is now located in Manchester. The latest enterprise NVMe storage, Intel Xeon processors, and 10GBit networking throughout.
