15 years of hosting

The 27th February 2001 saw the launch of NetWeaver.com Limited and today we celebrate 15 years of hosting.

15 years ago

A lot happened in 2001 :

• Sven-Göran Ericsson became the England manager
• We saw the outbreak of the Foot and mouth crisis
• The Eden Project opened to the public
• Manchester United won the FA Premier League title for the third season in succession, and the seventh time in nine seasons
• Labour won the general election
• Sadly, it was also the year of the 9/11 attacks

15 years of change

Whilst our mission and core business are still the same, we’ve seen a lot of changes over the last 15 years.  Our co-founder, John, lost his battle against cancer in July 2006, which continues to leave a big hole.  Recent additions to our management team – Dec, as customer Director, and Jake as Financial Director – continue our original vision of the best hosting possible.

We’ve used a wide range of suppliers, moved offices several times and built a small but brilliant team based in our Padiham office.  We’ve sponsored events, been on some amazing team building days and even been known to network with other companies when feeling really sociable (not often).

We’d not have been running for so long without our brilliant customers, thank you to every one of you – past, present and future.
